Jonathan McNeil is a passionate servant of God whose life is defined by purpose, creativity, and compassion. A gifted minister, musician, educator, and graphic designer, he uses each of his talents to uplift and empower others. Jonathan is especially dedicated to his work in special education, where he supports and advocates for students with diverse learning needs, helping them grow academically and personally. As a devoted advocate for literacy, he promotes the power of reading as a tool for transformation and freedom, especially among underserved communities.
Rooted in holiness from a young age, Jonathan’s spiritual foundation was established by his mother, Evangelist Barbara McNeil, and nurtured under the leadership of Pastor Doris Bailey at Purity Holiness Deliverance Church of God, Inc. It was there that he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and began his journey in music ministry—first as a drummer, then as an organist anointed for service at just nine years old. Over the years, he has served faithfully in local and national church music departments, developing his skills under the mentorship of leaders like Dr. Veronica Graves Mitchell.
Today, Jonathan continues to serve as a minister of the gospel and minister of music at Purity Deliverance Holiness Church. He also contributes to the ministry through administration and media, using his skills as a graphic designer to communicate vision with excellence. His musical journey has taken him from church pulpits to grand stages, including performances at Carnegie Hall and the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. He has played for renowned voices in the gospel world, including Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole and Evangelist Esther Smith.
Whether teaching in the classroom, designing visuals that inspire, or delivering a prophetic word, Jonathan McNeil remains a vessel yielded to God. Anchored by the truth of Nahum 1:7 — "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him." — he carries the message of hope and deliverance to this generation with boldness, integrity, and love.
